div class=contentCarpet shampooers seem to work really well. My parents bought a Bissel to use in their home, and it spits out wads of cat hair. The brushes and water combined, I guess, work well to get out the hair. I just pick up the hair wads as I go (they let me borrow it for my condo, too). Works so well that my mom will shampoo her carpets before my cat-allergic relatives come over for holidays and they#039;re able to stay the whole time without their allergies getting too bad, which is something they never could do before

div class=contentMake sure that the vacuum cleaner hose, filters and bag are completely clean first. Sprinkle baking soda on the carpet, let it sit for a bit, then vacuum over the carpet. The baking soda coats the dog hair (because of the oil in the hair) and helps it release from the carpet./div

div class=contentA carpet rake will work, but your vacuum should be doing the job. If its not, your vacuum is not working correctly or you need a new vacuum./div

The best way to remove your dog hair out of your carpet is to use a hard brush and rub the carpet in circular motion./div
